PRODUCTION STEPS
AT HARTJES, THE
INDIVIDUAL STEPS
OF PRODUCTION REMAIN VISIBLE.
The selection of raw materials, sustainable production and high-quality workmanship make each shoe unique.
From the idea to the construction of the prototype.
This is the exciting beginning of our shoes with pen, last and paper.
With creativity, our designers combine look and fit, color and function.
After creating the pattern for each size, the basis for the subsequent steps is set here by precise knife guidance.
Now the individual leather parts are joined together.
Care is also required here, as unsightly stitches would spoil the look.
Fastening the insole to the last (AGO method).
Here, the upper part is pulled around the last and glued to the insole.
The slats and corresponding top section are placed on the assembly line.
In the brushed style, the upper
is pulled over the last.
One egg is like another?
Here we check that this is really the case.
The side edges are roughened to optimally prepare for bonding to the sole,
.
This is where the adhesive is applied.
Finally united: The sole is glued to the upper part of the shoe and then pressed.
Now pull the shoe
off the last.
One last look:
Is the shoe Hartjes quality?
Then it can go on.
In tissue paper and then in the shoe box.
This way, our shoes are well protected for shipping.
